Mission: Getting To Know You

Calvin made it up to the kitchen after the others had mostly dispersed. Junior medical staff had already checked and declared death, but it was still up to Calvin to ensure proper removal and storage of the body. He didn't like it, sighing as he walked past the security staff still guarding the crime scene.

Opening the door and stepping in the freezer, his eyes glanced up and down the body. Something didn't seem right to him. He let his eyes readjust, the cybernetic eyes focusing intensely on Evita. He kneeled down slowly, watching the body, nay, the patient's neck. He took his tricorder out and did a quick scan which turned up nothing, but he knew what he saw. "Ho..." He stopped himself, biting his tongue, readjusting the calibration and fine tuning the scan. Taking a deep breath he recomposed himself.

Tapping his commbadge, "Operations. Please transport the body to the morgue, bed 3A. Clear it with command if needed," He said knowing the transporters were supposed to be offline. Within a moment of silence, the body disappeared, and he calmly but quickly went to the morgue.

Opening the hatch that hid her in the morgue, he slid the bed out and attached monitoring equipment. Careful to keep all of the equipment from syncing with the main system, he found a barely functioning but perfectly preserved patient. "I'll be damned," He said to his cold new patient. "What are we going to do with you now?" He sat down in a chair near her and stared for a few minutes formulating a plan.

With a nod of his head in agreement with himself, he slid Evita back into the hold and closed the hatch. His badge chirped, a message to report to the Ready Room. "Perfect," Calvin said to himself after acknowledging it. "Maybe this won't be such a bad day after all."
