A Harry Situation

Posted on Sat May 16th, 2020 @ 10:39pm by Lieutenant Farizah Alani & Captain Abigail Laurens

Mission: Around The World in 8 Days
Location: Earth

Abigail sat cross legged on the bed in her accommodations, staring at the PaDD in front of her. She had one chance to get this right, so she needed to make sure everything was planned perfectly, and for that she needed expert assistance. The call had already been placed, now she just had to wait, and hope that her expert would be willing to assist.

Almost right on time the chime to her door sounded. "Enter," Abigail called, looking up expectantly as the doors parted. "Lieutenant Alani," she said genuinely. "You have no idea how glad I am to see you. I need your help."

"We need to stop meeting like this. The crew will start suspecting something" was her immediate playful response as she stood there before the Captain. Farizah's hand rested on her hip and her pink lipstick popping against her light blue skin. "Scumbag Lockwood?" she inquired though this seemed different. "Whatever you need, Captain, I am glad you chose me" added the Bolian.

"Lockwood?" Abigail shook her head quickly. "This is more... uh... of a personal nature?" She climbed off the bed and picked up a small suitcase, opening it and pulling out a bundle swathed in fabric. Unwrapping it, she held it out to Farizah, allowing the full impact of the statue to be had on the Bolian. "Meet Harry," she said simply.

"Harry is hung" replied Farizah, her cheeks turning a beet purple from blushing. She tried to recompose herself and smiled. "Uh so now that I've seen Harry in all his glory, what is it that you need me for?" inquired the Security Chief. "Safe keeping?" she pondered.

"Strategic break and enter," Abigail replied, trying to suppress a laugh. "Long story short, we got Harry when we were on our Cadet Cruise. Ever since then, it's become a bit of a competition. I have to get Harry into someone else's possession without them knowing. I got pipped just before we left Starbase 412 at launch. Bloody Georgie managed to get someone to put him in my quarters and I had no idea until I went to go to bed that night, and Harry was sitting on my pillows. I happen to know that Clem is on Earth right now. They're about to head off on a honeymoon. Don't you think Harry would make the perfect wedding gift?" Abigail asked, raising one eyebrow quizzically.

Farizah couldn't help but to smirk before nodding. "It does sound like an excellent present, though I was hoping you'd want to have me polish Harry and shove right Admiral Lockwood's uptight treacherous ass" Farizah countered. "Now, I'm not turning this down. I actually am interested in this. I wouldn't mind giving your friend Clem a lovely honeymoon gift."

"Trust me, Poor Harry here is far too good for Lockwood's ass." Abigail laughed softly and shook her head. "So, how do we do this?"

Farizah took a moment and relaxed her posture a bit. "Your provide me with some more information otherwise, we need to acquire it before we do anything. We need to know where he is staying so that we can acquire the blueprint schematics...the general layout will help in deciding how to enter. We need to find vulnerabilities and blind spots to any surveillance systems or detection devices."

"Clem runs tactical on the USS Farriday. They're getting married in a few hours, a very small, private, discreet wedding, just them and their witnesses. There will be a big reception tonight on a family estate in Vermont and then they are transporting to Chateau De St Martinez after for their honeymoon."

"Ah well, I would not dare interupt a couple on their honeymoon" she replied pleasantly. "I mean a human one at least. Bolian honeymoons can be quite the experience, but that's a whole other discussion" she said clearing her throat. "Did you receive an invitation to the wedding. I can be your plus one. That would at least get us in with ease. Otherwise, we're working on your hand-eye-coordination and tray balancing skills" she added.

"I do indeed have an invite," Abigail replied with a smile. "And right now there is no one I would rather take more."

Farizah scoffed and smirked. She posed with her hand on her hip and showed off her trim svelte figure. "I know," she said in response to the Captain. "I am a Bolian Goddess...of mischief" she added with emphasis on what she was the divine deity of. "I also am the best chance you have of your Senior Staff to get this statue into Clem's possession."

"Then, I guess we should be getting ready for a wedding!" Abigail said with a laugh.

"He's marrying a human I hope," replied Farizah. "Or at least a species that believes in clothing. I have gone to one Betazoid wedding in my lifetime. I'm not looking forward to another" explained the Bolian.

Abigail laughed and shook her head. "Trust me, if it were a Betazoid wedding I would have politely declined. Clothing is very much required. I believe the dress code is semi formal."

Farizah flashed a small smile. "I am sure I'll be able to rummage around and find some nice silks or statins and come up with something appropriate to attend this wedding."

There was one final smile as Abigail looked at Farizah. "Meet me back here at three and we can go from there? I'll make transport arrangements."

"Oh I'll be here at three sharp" replied the Bolian. "Don't let them jip you on transports. Make sure they send one of the newer models, something spacious even. I like to make a damn entrance."

Farizah saw the smirk on Abigial's face. She truly was enjoying her time aboard the Astraea, but more importantly she valued moments like this.
